Independently develop, integrate, and execute global and local raw material procurement sourcing strategies which support Sadara corporate strategies. Includes completing detailed analysis of raw material procurement needs, supporting Sadara strategy, and proposing leveraging opportunities for critical raw materials.
Comply with work process, recommend improvements.
Identify suppliers capable of meeting Sadara's requirements, develop sustainable, competitive pricing.
Maintain communication with Marketing to their ensure full understanding of cost trends.
Negotiate commercial agreements or spot purchases required to support business partners and proponent needs.
Ensure that negotiated agreements are implemented, and terms and conditions are being met
Aggressively pursue and create competitive purchase environment by constantly seeking alternate supply scenarios
Define and develop appropriate cross-functional relationships with the Businesses, Supply Chain, and other functions
Establish and maintain business relationships with the appropriate management of key suppliers
Develop and implement commercial agreements and associated work processes within area of responsibility including the development of KSA supply opportunities.
Resolve process or supplier related issues and escalate to Procurement management, Manufacturing, Supply Chain and Marketing as needed.
Maintain basic knowledge of suppliers and relevant market developments such as mergers & Acquisitions, financial status, and changes in key personnel.
Excellent spoken and written English.
Demonstrated success in coaching, developing new hires.
Experience in procuring raw materials for a major chemical manufacturer globally sourcing petrochemical raw materials
