OVERALL RESPONSIBILITY:
The Project Engineer prime objective is to support the Owner’s Representative in the daily operational duties and ensure the quality, time and budget of the project in addition to keeping the updated information throughout the life of a project. He will assist the Owner’s Representative as the jobsite eyes and ears, providing for quick decisions and in representing the proper mind-set of the knowledge and experience of design, engineering and construction.
KEY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Analyze and resolve the field construction issues.
• Review the RFIs, IRs, and shop drawings as built.
• Review and follow up work schedule and implementation with the PM’s input, in addition to preparing the agenda and minutes of meetings for OR’s meetings.
• Complete the required tasks and reports daily in addition to the weekly update of project photos.
• Pack and collect the Engineer daily job reports of subcontractor PM.
• Verify materials deliveries as ordered.
• Manage project closeout and obtain all required warranties for final acceptance.
• Maintain punch list with the PM.
• Ensure company procedures and standards are maintained.
• Assist in monitoring all stages of work to assure compliance with the contract document and project requirements
• Other assigned duties per business related requirements.
