- Ability to understand and implement Mining Master Plan.
- Prepare detailed mining plan and schedules based on master plan.
- Implement the mining plan and schedules, control, monitor and prepare reports.
- Specifying labor usage, equipment, production methods, extraction methods based on factors such as safety and cost.
- Implement and coordinate mine safety programs including the design and maintenance of protective and rescue equipment and safety devises.
- Estimate costs of developing and operating mines.
