•Preparing simple plans and designs
•Calculating and preparing bills of materials in accordance with established codes standards drawings and other specifications
•Performing routine technical surveys
•Recommending modifications to conception or production techniques or materials
•Assisting more experienced technical personnel with specific aspects of more complex tasks.
Requirements
•University graduation in applied science or engineering with no practical experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
•Eligible for registration as a junior engineer or an engineer in training
•General knowledge of a variety of standard engineering methods and techniques.
