Area Manager

PURPOSE OF POSITION

Ensures clinics to deliver highest quality treatments for our patients according to Diaverum country regional and local standards and regulations.

Whilst achieving budget within the area through developing and leading Clinic Managers by Setting up contacts and manages relationship with strategic partners . local authorities referral channels hospital cooperation and other commercial affairs



KEY RESULT AREAS



General

•Ensures that area targets especially area budget are achieved.

•Guarantees the management and development of local relational and referral channels at healthcare institutions and local public health centers for the purpose of promoting business development in the area of reference.



Leadership development

•Develops and empowers Clinic Managers in order to establish and ensure strong leadership at clinic level



Business Development

•Provides input for business plans to evaluate the ongoing market opportunities for the Diaverum clinics

•Liaises and negotiates together with Country Manager to develop Diaverum clinic business opportunities



Operations

•Approves and supervises the skill mix and staff management in clinics in line with company policies and country regulations.

•Ensures the management of orders of products services maintenance and equipment of the regional clinics in line with the targets corporate procedures and standardization programs

•Managing the establishment of new clinics according to Diaverum standards by

a.Identifying optimal site and gaining any planning consents

b.Registering clinic with local health authority ensuring compliance with all statutory regulations

c.Managing the design and building process ensuring all the facilities provision necessary to the projects

d.Equipping the facility and recruiting clinical and business staff

e.Ensuring rolling and ongoing agreements with suppliers

f.Choice of suppliers equipment services and medicaments and medical materials.

g.Support the recruitment process identifying talents for available vacancies

h.Ensure completion of NEO program and employee files

i.Performance reviews and appraisals

j.Provides input for preparation of forecasts and budget.

k.Controls invoices from material and service suppliers.
