- develop scheme designs for costing purposes
- generate/run computer model of developed structural framing layout
- produce design spreadsheets in MS Excel or MathCAD
- Carry out design of structural members and related member connection details
provide CAD draftsmen of necessary reinforcement and connection details
check conformance of CAD output against contract drawings and structural design
- validates structural design output of the team
- ensure company design standards are put into practice
- liaise with client's engineers and architects
- make sure design schedules are on track with overall project schedule
